Carribean beach construction

Got an email yesterday stating for my trip on June 24th at Carribean beach that they will have pool closures and food court shut down. How bad will it be? Should I switch? They did say I would get a gift card which is nice. Just hoping won't ruin trip. We do like hotel time to. I know main pool is open though.
Lastly if they offer a summer room special or any special that I take. Would I still qualify for gift card? I know hard to know just curious if anyone went thru it. Want best deal and best situation

The bulk of the hammer and nail construction during your time will be to the main hub literally feet from the main pool. And all food options will be in temporary housing. You need to read the thread posted above to see if that will bother you or not.

I thought there would not be pool closures... I guess I read that wrong.

The pool is not supposed to be closed. However they are doing construction VERY near the main pool, so it's likely that you will see the construction from the pool as well as hear it. The pool bar, restaurant food court, and gift shop will all be down and they are going to be in the works of constructing new stuff there. All of that stuff is extremely close to the main pool.
