Carribbean Beach Resort - number of people

with over 2,000 rooms does it feel crowded here?
I just wondered, as were going in 4 weeks, 5th trip but first time ever at a Disney Hotel.

Can't wait !!

Also can you swim in the pools at any time or are there restrictions?

From what I have been reading it rarely feels crowded there.
mainly people say this because of the area this resort covers.

Im sure the pools close at sometime...either that there isnt a lifeguard on duty after a certain time but pool is still usable.

Back in 95 i remmeber coming bak to AS at 3am from PI and going swimming for an hour or two

CBR is large but I wouldn't call it huge. It never seems crowded to me. We have been there several times when it is near capacity and it wasn't bad at all.

It is nice because there are many pools so you can always find one that is less crowded.

The quiet pools never close. They may have to close for brief periods for cleaning during the day but there are others to use. The main pool opens at 7 am and is open till midnight. Lifeguards come on duty at 10 AM and stay till different hours depending on the season.

You will have a great time at CBR.

See my post below. The last time we went to CBR we stayed in Jamaica and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! The quiet pool never had anyone else in it, and the large pool was never crowded. We loved it.

We stayed at CBR in 2000 and did not find it crowded at all, I hope you enjoy your trip

We were just there a little over a week ago and were told at check-in that there were only 5 available rooms at that time. My first thought was how crowded the pools and buses would be but I was pleasantly surprised. We only had one or two bus rides that were crowded enough for some people to have to stand (one of which was at MK closing) and, while it was busy, the main pool was not too crowded to enjoy. Hope this helps.
