Carriage rides at WL in Dec?

Does anyone know if they are doing this again this year? When can it be booked?? Do you have to wait till 90 days out?Any help appreciated!

We did this on our trip this past Dec. I do know they were booked full every night the week before Christmas, so hopefully they will do this again. I know I did not book 90 days in advance-I don't even think it was announced 90 days ahead of time. Just watch the boards and call when you see posts about it being available again. I believe I called the same number that is used to book boat cruises and other outdoor specialty items.

Ive never heard of this before and will be going to disney for the first time in december for xmas and was wondering how it is and how much?

The Sleigh Rides where very popular last year, I'm sure they will bring them back again. Here is the information from last year:

Wilderness Lodge Holiday Sleigh Rides

Enjoy a leisurely 30-minute carriage ride through the Walt Disney World backwoods from November 30 - December 30! . All rides depart from the Porte Cochere in front of the Wilderness Lodge and will return to the same location every half hour between 5:30pm and 10:00pm (December 24th hours are 3:00pm - 7:00pm). Cost is $30 (tax included) per carriage. Up to 3 adults and 2 children or 4 adults will fit in the carriage. To reserve call WDW-PLAY; Please arrive 15 minutes prior to ride time. For same-day bookings, call 407-XXX-XXXX. A $30 fee will be charged for no-shows or for cancellations within 24 hours.

I Xed out the phone # so they wouldn't start receiving calls before they post information about rides for this year.

DonaldsGrl, if there are only 2 of you then you get the sleigh to yourselves, and its still the same price.

I agree with slimplaw, just keep watching the boards and Im sure as soon as anyone hears anything about it, it will be posted here.

We really enjoyed doing this. It was a great way to spend Christmas night and our kids got the biggest kick out of being in the woods in the dark.

It was a really nice experience. The cost was $30 plus we tipped the driver $5 (though we didn't have to). We only found out about it a few weeks before the trip, when I called to reserve it, it took awhile because the lady had never heard of it. I would recommend the Sleigh Ride if they offer it again this year.
