Carriage ride at port orleans

They talked us into the carriage ride at port Orleans after our daughter gets all "boutiqued" is it worth it?

I think it is expensive, but it is a nice experience. Carriage rides in general are expensive though. We paid about as much for a shorter ride in Williamsburg last year. Is it worth it? That is really up to you. We thought it was a good experience. While we may do it again, it isn't something we would do on every trip.

DW and I took the carriage ride on our last visit. We were there in early December so it was dark by 5 p.m. It was very nice and romantic. Our driver was pleasant, and it turned out the horse was from Iowa so we had fun discussing that. Is it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? To us, yes. YMMV.

We did it last year, daughter and two grand kids. It was a nice cap on the day, relaxing. We thought it was worth it.

And no tipping the driver. They are quite serious about that, not sure why.
