I have always used it to find rates then booked directly through the rental company website. Usually with easily found codes the rate is the same.

We've used carrentalsavers twice in the past few months, and had no problem.
What amazes me is how the prices can fluctuate incredibly from day-to-day, even hour-to-hour!
If you see a great rate, book it!

BTW, don't forget to print out your reservation info, and take with you to airport!

Ditto. I check to see the average rates and who is the lowest. I know with Alamo for our May trip we got quite a bit lower with a coupon code and our Insiders membership than we were being quoted for Alamo on carrentalsavers.
Plus, you generally get a few perks to book with the company directly if you belong to their loyalty program.

Same here, Carrentalsavers.com is a great tool to compare rental company prices. Then I book with the rental company's website.
