Carpet Cleaning ?

Hello, we just bought a house and need to have the carpets cleaned.

Has anyone had their carpets cleaned using Chem dry ( dry chemical) versus a steam cleaner operation and see which one comes out the best? The pricing is within 30 dollars of each other – I just want to know which one is better. The steam cleaner takes longer ( 4 hrs ) to dry out that is the only drawback that I know of

Any advice? Thanks so much!

I only use Chem Dry.. They do a great job ...
( When we purchased new carpet they even recommended Chem dry )

Thanks for the reply. Did you notice if it took any stains out of the carpet?

Yes . We had several stains... they removed them then we also has carpet protection on them..
