hi does anyone know how busy the car parks get at dlp?? and do they have moving floorways....? I never even noticed the car parks last year when we went.

we are going on 3 may 2007 and will be driving to and from the davy crockett ranch eveyday....OH is really looking forward to that, ha ha

getting very excited now.

I dunno about the Davy Crockett but at the Cheyenne there is plenty of parking..but no 'moving floorways' ???? Wot are they?

If you park in the main car park then you can get on the moving walkways
You can park here for free with your ID from staying at DCR

hi in an earlier post someone mentioned that one of the main car parks had moving floors like they have in airports to help you walk across the carparks. DD will love that!!

Yes, there is a long line of them from the car parks. At the end of the day on my last visit in Feb 07 my DS2 loved running up and down them. We must have spent about 20 mins in total on them. The best bit was when he was running down one the wrong way, it took him a long time and every time he stated to walk he got nowhere. It was grate, he was very tiered after and whent strate to bed.

yeah, who needs disney when your little one is quite happy running up and down the moving floors

bet they are a godsend after a long day in the parks.

Tha car park at DLP is huge & have never seen it full. When you check in to DCR in your pack you get a proof of stay card. You show this at the ticket barrier & park for free.

On an evening you can park in the multi storey car-park at the Disney village. If you visit the office in the car-park on your return to the car they will waive the car parking fee.

The drive to & from DCR is really quick & easy.

how have you found the davy crockett ranchn in general?

we've been to the newport bay previously but this year really fancied the ranch for different accommodation and somewhere to relax in the evening when the little one is dreaming of the princesses.
