Rates are about the same between Carousel & ParkVue for my dates. Pool is important, but so is location which ruled out HoJo...We have stayed at ParkVue before and liked it, but the pool wasn't appealing. We have never stayed at Carousel. BWPPI is booked so not an option. Any help is appreciated.

Is there a specific reason HOJO is out of the question , it's really not much farther than Carousel. Carousel also charges for wifi/ parking and has a resort fee if that's a concern.

I think their pool at Carousel is on the rooftop but rather small from photos and HOJO has the pool/kids play area if tou have young ones.

Best Western Anaheim Inn is close too , Tropicana and Camelot and Grand Legacy may fit the bill too :)

My daughter is 12 and 1/2 and she doesn't want to add time and distance walking to and from the park. She thinks the pirate themed water area is cute but she thinks she's too old for it. We don't use hotel WiFi and no car to park. Tropicana was about $30 more a night... I may just reconsider ParkVue. I think all of the Best Westerns except for Stovall's are full. Thank you for your help :)

Oh okay understandable. What dates are you going for? Sometimes you can give good deals on Orbitz or Hotel Tonight if within a week . I always have something booked that is cancellable but am always rechecking :)

We stay at the Carousel all the time and like it. I know Park Vue offers breakfast and Carousel doesn't, if that makes any difference. I can't comment on the Carousel pool because I've never used it and have never gone to the top to check it out. It's only a couple of doors down from Park Vue, so don't let distance be your deciding factor. Have a great trip! :)

Looks like Desert Inn has the same rate, they have breakfast (albeit continental, not fancy but adequate), right at the crosswalk, indoor pool (again, not fancy). We liked it and are staying again in Sept. Very clean, comfy, nice staff.
