Carousel of Progress

I know that this attraction operates seasonally... Does anyone know if it's currently open and scheduled to be open next week??
It's been soooo long since I've been able to see it...

as of last week it is closing on Aug. 15

I've heard the Aug 15th date also but..............I'm hoping the increased attendance due to FTP will spur an unscheduled opening of COP while we are there (9/28-10/10).

I know! I know! But a person can HOPE can't they?

I love that attraction!!!

I'm so disappointed..we'll be there next week and I love Carousel of Progress ! By the way...what is FTP ?

When we were there 7/29, it was to open at 10:00am and there was a small line to get in. At 10:00 the CM came out and said that the opening would be delayed by at least a 1/2 hr. We did not wait, had to keep moving on at MK. Needless to say we did not get to see COP(and many other things for that matter). I really wanted the kids to see it.

When we were there in Dec. 2001 they were getting ready to close it except for Holidays and busy times. It broke down almost every time we went, about 6 times that week!! Of course the audience just sang along with it, stuck scene and all. It almost reminded me of being at Rocky Horror!

I love it and miss it but may never see it again because I refuse to go during peak times.
