Carousel of Progress?

My last trip to WDW was about 3 years ago. Does anyone know if Carousel of Progress is still operational? I will be visiting in a few weeks. Thanks!

We were there last February, and yep it was still up and running, I haven't heard anything about it not running anymore. Anyways I love that show it's a real classic!

it's still up and running, but it really needs to be refurbished. The carpet is a mess and just dirty looking. I love the show, but its also a nice place to take a nap after a long day.

We just saw it on Tuesday Jan 17th and it is great as always!

.......Still there and an historic ride to boot. Usually not super long lines either - if there are it moves quickly! That was Disney's first ride and was introduced at the World's Fair in NYC in 1964. You can actually download the theme song from some the music sharing programs out there, not naming names....

It doesn need a good cleaning but is probably one of the few remaining Original attractions left at WDW in Orlando. Most everything else has been updated and revamped.... My DS 6, loved that ride and sings the song all the time! It brings back fond memories of our trips.

Saw it again in December...DD 7 loved it, so it was a great experience, since it was one of my childhood favorites!

I love COP!!!! I agree, it could use a good refurb. It seems the upkeep has been sort of neglected by Disney, seats were very worn, carpet raggedy, but nonetheless it is a GREAT show and a Disney CLASSIC!!! I Love it!!

A trip isn't complete without riding it and singing "....It's a great big beautiful tomorrow" for weeks to follow. Even dd (4) still sings it 5 months after the ride. Enjoy it.

I don't care how much the carpets or chairs need to be refurbished.

my kids DH & I just love this ride..It is an icon in my opinion for wdw..

I want it to never change.

I do not care that there are missing chairs at all...the music is soothing and for me is one of the main things disney is all about.

they have taken so much away from us on main street...please, please don't take this away

I just rode it yesterday and it was operating today when I walked by it. I love the COP and try to ride it a couple of times a year.

I read HERE that they just REPLACED the carpet within the last couple of months.
