For our trip next week I'm starting to question our initial choice of hotel... We have a club room reserved at the Carousel Inn, but I'm tempted by all the great things I'm reading about the PPI. Any advice would be welcome!

IMHO, unless the BWPPI is offering a much lower rate, you'll be fine where you are. I don't find a huge difference between the motels on Harbor. They are all pretty similar, with some (like the HoJo with its waterpark) that offer something different, but the BWPPI's advantage is location. However, it is not that different from the Carousel. While I would stay at the BWPPI again, it wasn't anything special enough to make me move from a confirmed reservation at the Carousel.

We stay at BWPPI because the room size works well for our family, we do the BW Rewards program, and it's location is great. But as the previous poster said, it's just a motel, and very similar to other motels we've stayed at on Harbor. The room size and price work for us, so that's where we stay, but if they were booked on my dates I'd just choose something else, not a big deal.

I've never stayed at Carousel, so I can't help you there. I'm sure whatever you choose will work out fine.

We just checked out of BWPPI yesterday. I posted a review if you want to pull it up and read it. We loved the place. It was clean, quiet, had large rooms, nice furnishings, a good breakfast, friendly staff, and the location can't be beat. It will be our new go-to place.

We have stayed at both. The BWPPI numerous times (and again next week) and once at the Carousel in a "club" room. The club room at Carousel was no big deal. It seemed a bit bigger but had a bit of an old motel feeling. I don't care about upgraded soap or shampoo so that was not an important thing for me. The club rooms are at the very back of the hotel and it is pretty quiet back there which I really liked. All of our rooms at the BW have always been great. We have been on the bottom floor most of the time and it was alway pretty quiet as well. It as a bit closer than Carousel too.
