Hi All, I was just curiuos as to if you all have stayed here before and is it a good hotel, your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.:goodvibes

I stayed there last month. It was nice enough but I'm not a very picky person nor do I spend much time in the rooms. The free breakfast wasn't all that great and doesn't start until 7:00 am - most days I was in line for the park at 7am so I only had the free breakfast once during my trip. I thought the beds to be comfy and the rooms to be clean - that's all that I require.

Thank you for the advice, I am not too picky either as like you I don't spend much time in the room, are the rooms a comfortable size and do they come with two queen beds?? Just curious. :)

When we stayed there, I requested a room in the back 2 story part of the hotel. Our room was a nice size and had 2 queen size beds that were SUPER comfy!!! I agree that the breakfast isn't that great, but we just used it to get us thru until we had a "real" breakfast at the RBT :goodvibes

We stayed last year and found it excellent value for money. Certainly not 5 star but then also not a 5 star price. The breakfast was good but not great, had apples, oranges, crossiants, danishes that we took into the park for snacks. We bought cereal and milk and had that instead. Rooms were a good size with two queen beds, a good sized microwave and fridge. We found the staff really helpful, our room was ready on arrival, they gave us a free late checkout on our last day (1pm) and they checked our luggage and we stayed in the airconditioned breakfast room with tv till it was time to go. Biggest negative was the pool which was small.

We stayed there December 20th through the 23rd. We had never stayed there before, but we decided at Thanksgiving to meet my DMIL, DFIL, DBIL, and DSIL there for a Christmas trip.

I wanted something around $100 a night, and at that late booking, that was pretty much our only option. What I knew from the DIS boards was that it was clean, but in no way fancy.

I would agree that it's clean if by clean you mean no mold or evidence of previous guests. But from our experience, housekeeping was horrible. The first day they came, they took the dirty glasses away, but did not leave new ones, leaving us with just one glass. The next day, when we returned to the room late that night, not only had they still not brought fresh glasses, but the one remaining one with the rest of my morning soda still sat on the counter!

The last day, they did not bring any hand towels, only bath towels and washcloths. The entire time we were there, there was no soap holder for the hand soap, we just had to put in on the counter. Gross.

The worst thing they did though, was open the window shades and leave them open. Therefore, anyone walking by your room could look in and see everything we had in the room. Major security flaw in my opinion. I kept wondering as we walked by rooms why people would leave the shades open, and when we returned to our room after being gone from 8 am to 10:30 pm to find our shades wide open, I was shocked!!

That's just housekeeping. The one other major thing that happened was on our second day, we had no hot water in the shower! To be fair, when I called the front desk, they said they had one room available they could move us to, they just had to check to make sure it was clean. In that time, my DH figured out that the hot water was coming and going, so after about 35 minutes of standing in the shower waiting for the hot water to kick in, I was finished!!

So needless to say, even though the room was only $100, I didn't feel it was worth the money. I won't stay there again and won't recommend it either. Hot water on demand is a must!
