I can't find my original thread about this hotel, sorry.
I stayed here on Friday, April 9th. I had to attend a conference/convention at the DLH on Saturday. I am giving this hotel 3.5 stars. The room was super clean, the bathroom was HUGE. There was a fridge, microwave and maker in the sink area outside the toilet/bathtub shower room. There was shampoo, conditioner, lotion, face and bath soap bars. I had a king bed, there was also a pull out queen sofa bed. Standard other stuff, TV, clothing armoire, desk, coffee table. It was also super quiet. I heard no noise on either side, I had a connecting room, but I don't think that anyone was in the other side. Free breakfast was danish, croissants, apples, oranges, juice from the push button machine, lots of coffee, including a few flavoured types.
I give thumbs down on the air conditioning unit, it was old and only worked on the coldest setting for the A/C, which was way too cold for me. Also the shampoo was one brand and the conditioner was another. There was also a shower gel dispenser (shaded of WDW Values) in the tub. I am not a fan.
With tax, it was just under $150.00. There is a pool and a hot tub, I did not see either as I left as soon as I checked in for the parks and came back at midnight.
I think for the price, it was a good room, everyone I was with was also pleased with the cleanliness. They do have what they call family suites, which are 2 king beds in the BR a queen and a queen sofa bed in the other room, but only one bath. They will sleep 8 in the suite. Those run about $249 a night.
I don't have any idea if the price is average for that area. They are a GNH, and had the usual tourist brochures in the lobby as well as tickets to all the hot spots available.
