I wasnt sure where to put this or to update in the other topic so figured I would just start another one. Apologies if this is wrong.

Sunday 29th March:

It was our 4 year anniversary today so after exchanging cards and little gifts we got each other we got up and got ready for the day ahead. The weather didnt look to bad, but until you got outside you didnt realise how cold the wind was. We got to the park around 10am and already it was packed and I mean packed. Its the busiest ive ever seen it. We looked at times for rides and decided the best thing to do was to get fast passes for the things we wanted to go on the most. So we headed to BTM got 2 fast passes for that and then headed to buzz and got some for that. By the time we had done that it was 11.30am and as we hadnt had breakfast we decided to get some food. We decided to go to caseys as we wanted something quick and it was fairly quiet in there.

I personally thought it was the worst possible place to choose to eat. The chips were cold and I had nuggets which were just awful. Anyway after we had eaten it was time for our ride on BTM. We headed over there and on our way stopped to take some photos of the castle.

Im not really sure what the Mickey ears were for, I guess something to do with the press event as they were gone on Monday. Anyway as you can see the weather wasnt to great so we walked quickly to get on BTM.

As you can tell im loving it. Its definatly one of the best rides! We were freezing when we came off though and stupidly we hadnt brought our coats with us because we didnt think it would be that cold, so they were in the hotel keeping the room warm instead. We decided to head to PM as the que wasnt very long and thought being inside may keep us warm for a bit. I really like how they have done this and think the queing system and set up is a lot better than WDW.

After that we looked at the time and saw that it still wasnt time for buzz so I told my boyfriend I really wanted to go on IASW. As far as im concerned you cant got to disney and not do IASW. He had laughed all the way round the ride in America so said he was up for another laugh. When we got over there the waiting time was an hour and half and we just looked at each other and said ok maybe not. Instead we headed to the teap cups which we both love as we spin the cups so fast. It was only a 10 minute wait which was perfect.

We came off and our heads were spinning. It was brilliant, I love that ride. We then went and got a crepe each which was delicous but not worth the 4.00 euros charge for it. We then headed to buzz and on our way bumped into some friends:

It was mayhem so I didnt bother getting photos with them. We headed over to buzz with our fast passes and were on the ride within 5 minutes.

I cant remember our points but My boyfriend got level 3 and I got level 4...poor lol. But we did improve the next day. We came out of buzz and saw people roller skating so decided to see what was going on! It was this stitch dance show. Not really my boyfriends or my cup of tea but we watched a few minutes of it. Dont get me wrong I love a bit of cheesy pop, but just a little OTT for me.

We headed back to the castle to see if we could get anyone to take a photo of the both of us and as we were doing that music started to play and minnies train came along. When it arrived I was gutted because I was on the wrong side to see pluto but thought lucky to have been there and the right time t see the train at all.

As we were now very cold again we decided to go and get a drink to warm up. We decided it was a good idea to do the parade today as it was so busy in the vain hope Monday would be quieter and we would be able to get more things done. We waited for around half an hour down main street were we usually stand! A couple of minutes before the parade came to main street I have never felt more pushing and shoving in my life. Kids parent were shoving their kids in front of me and my boyfriend got completly pushed out and was made to stand behind me. Most of the time I had a camera stuck in my face by this lady from behind. I had never seen anything like it! To be honest it seemed to continue like that on most rides aswell. People just dont care about pushing in/being rude in DLRP. I was amazed after only coming back from WDW in the summer for the 4th time and just thought to myself, this just doesnt happen there. Anyway rant over sorry.

Ive got loads more but I dont want to bore you with them. After the parade my boyfriend decided I needed to calm down after getting very annoyed by the pushing and hurting my leg that we went and did a bit of shopping. My mum wanted some christmas decoration as she gets one everytime she goes to disney. By the time we had looked in all the shops it was time for our meal at the silver spur.

We had a lovely table and our waitress was lovely. We both opted for the set menu. We had parma ham to start:

By the time we had finished and polished off a bottle of wine and cocktails it was 9.15pm and we both decided we didnt want to go on anymore rides so just walked around the park. It gorgeous in the dark and made our anniversary very special.

I stood there thinking well maybe someday. Dont think that will ever happen on a nurses wage though.

We then headed back to the hotel for an earlyish night.

Day 3 will come when I have time to do it. However may come sooner rather than later. Find writing this more enjoyable than trying to do an essay on coping with illnesses. Hope you enjoy reading and sorry for the longest report in history!

great trip report thanks - the parade photo with the castle in the background was lovely.

You can tell why you are nice and slim :) - I'd have eaten the chicken ribs and sausage and demanded to try some of his steak then eaten the dessert!

Awesome trip report. Looks like the perfect day to have an anniversary.

I'm a bit nervous you say people push in the lines and things. Is it really that bad, or just frustrating the few times it happens each day?

Phantom Manor looks so creepy there. They did a good job with it.

Looks like you had a great time (even with the pushing:sad2:)

I panicked when I saw that awful Mickey thing in front of the castle. Thank goodness it wasn't permanent. What are disney thinking:confused3

Like your matching tops:rolleyes1

Another fabulous day (well apart from the pushing and shoving) - your meals are making me drool as I'm SO hungry at the moment!

I know when I first saw that I nearly fainted. Wondered what the hell they had done to the gorgeous castle! Was pleased when it had gone on Monday.

Matching tops...we didnt even realise until we took off our jumpers in the restraunt.

Great report, thanks. :thumbsup2 Lovely photos too.

I was astounded to hear that IASW was 90 mins wait. :scared1: I have never seen it that long even the Sunday before Christmas. I cannot imagine waiting that long for it.:scared:
