to WDW? Wasn't the weather beautiful?

I'm back! Weather was wonderful and there really weren't any crowds.

I read several posts last week implying that there were crowds. Well I did not see them. I did skip the MK which could explain some of it, but Sat night at Epcot there were tons of empty places near me to watch Illuminations! I could understand why the cutbacks have been needed at WDW.

Where were you watching Illuminations? We were there Saturday.

Over by the African outpost! Too funny! It was very empty near me. I had a chair and everything.

We were over by the Rose & Crown Pub. The crowd at Epcot was very manageable. Sunday was another story. 45-60 minute waits and the same at MK.

How is the view from the Outpost?

View from Outpost is pretty good. The globe can be a little blocked by the tree, but I find it is usually not as crowded.

I went to Epcot Sunday afternoon, went to visit Dad Sunday morning. I really did not feel it was packed, but I just walked around the WS.

My feeling is that Disney is kind of like retail. They are only MAKING money (as opposed to covering costs) when the place is busy, busy!! (You know the hour long waits, park closings etc...) It just seems that they are not that busy now especially with it being spring break time. I mean I got a DVC reservation on Thursday for that night covering the whole weekend. On Sunday, I extended it to Monday. No problem either time.
