Now that I think about it yes. I think she was in the Caymans. one of her back up generators failed not long after the Triumph and they flew the passengers home as a precaution and took the ship straight to Freeport.
If I am not mistaken, as you mentioned above as to a easy cause to see, *a parted fuel line* was the cause of the Triumph fire .
I have a feeling there will not be any news on what caused the fire until at least Tomorrow.
The important part is, no one was hurt.

Wow! This is crazy, but I spent the weekend at St Thomas and stayed at the Marriott. When we were leaving for the airport, we drove by the port and was wondering why so many people were leaving the ship. I guess I got my answer. I hope everyone was safe.
Hi Texas......getting ready for the big move?
I thought the $150 was pretty nice myself!
The USCG and I am sure class surveyors and hull and machinery engineers/surveyors have been there all morning. Based on what the surveyors say, the USCG will say whether they sail or not. They were apparently testing the mains earlier this morning which is a good sign.

Yes and no. The move will be next summer, after the oldest boy graduates from High School. I'm doing what you have to do after living in a house 13 years - going drawer to drawer and closet to closet and throwing stuff out!
Yes, the $150 each was just to cover any expenses incurred on-shore yesterday. I dare say nobody went on an eating and drinking binge in the few hours they were off the ship unexpectedly so they're already ahead financially. They were supposed to get an update around 4 today so we'll see. That thread, just like most of them on CC, has gone off the rails and is getting difficult to read!
Truck, I guess anything could happen, with a main down they may even *tugged* her to a repair yard.
They have moved her 1/2 ship length up the pier to make room for other vessels. coming it.

I agree with both of you folks.....its like WWII. They are debating about the meaning of the Word *panic* and fighting about someone's MOM the last I looked. Hooo yes and another person was talking about pumping the fuel into shore tankers so the ship could be *tugged*.
and I though the drama gets heavy here...LOL
