Next month on my upcoming trip we wont be landing at SNA until about 6:30-7:00pm. Not once in the years we have been going to DL has it taken us more then an hour to land, get to our hotel, check in and be over at the park. The park is open until 11 that night giving us a few hours of play time before the park closes. We knew we would only have a few hours but we purchased an 8 day hopper to have those extra few hours the first night. However we figured that we will be hungry when we arrive at the DLR. So my mom suggested that we try out the Carnation Cafe on Main Street before we hit up a few rides. It's odd I've never eaten here or know this answer. However I am not sure what time Carnation is open until, or if I can make pre reservations there. It's just that it will be a Saturday night, and people will be lining up for the fireworks. So my concern is that there maybe a good lineup in there. Should we skip this idea? What would you do?
If worst comes to worst I suggested when we get to the park just grab a pretzel or something to tie us over and have a late dinner at Ihop. There are no kids on this trip so we don't have to worry about curfew or getting super tired.
