Carnation Cafe and Soundsational Parade

I've been spending the past few days making meal reservations for our trip in June since they are supposed to be busy park days. On the 12th, we having a later breakfast (Plaza Inn), so I made a later lunch reservation at the Carnation Cafe for 3:30. I just realized that we'll probably be walking out of there at about the time the Soundsational Parade should start. I'm trying to figure out a plan for getting out of that area during the parade or figuring out if there is anywhere we could probably view the parade from at that late of an arrival (not expecting a great view, just somewhere to enjoy the atmosphere of it all). I know walkways will be tight, so I don't want to be one of those people spinning around in circles because I'm not sure where to go.

You can access Gibson Girl and Penny Arcade from Carnation and just take those all the out to the seating area between Coke Corner and Jolly Holiday.
