Can anyone tell me about this place? I have it written in my notes to go to in Cozumel but I can't remember who told me to go there. I also wrote not to bring DS and DD at night time. What goes on there at night? Should they even be going for lunch? Is it someplace worth going? Thanks!!!

I have been to Cozumel about 10 times and this is one of my favorite places. Depending on DS and DD ages you might not want to take them at night time because of the nightclub atmosphere. It can turn into a pretty wild party..... Fun for adults and teens but not for young children.

If you have anymore question about Coz. let me know.

I was there a few months ago on a leadership trip for my job. I would think it would be fine for kids at lunch. It's a bar and restraunt. Depending on the people that are in there I am guessing it could be like any other place or it could be crazy. They play music, people dance, the waiters act crazy. It's a very fun place.

Oh yes it would be just fine at lunch or even dinner...... Just not later in the evening

I went around 4pm & it was pretty crazy. But we DID do the bar, not the restaurant area, so I'm not sure how different it is. I know if I had kids, I wouldn't let them near the bar area. It's a must do for any adults, I'm just not sure about kids.

OH, and if you DO go with your kids, and they ask you if you want a shot, say NO!!!!!!!!!! You'll thank me later.

Sounds like a lot of fun!!! The person who told me about it also said not to miss it. We are doing the Cozumel Ruins and Beach Tour which leaves at noon and lasts 4-4.5 hours so that just about rules out lunch. Would DS12 and DD10 be okay for an early dinner or should DH and I go at night alone and leave the kids on board with the grandparents?

Brent B - How is the Cozumel Ruins and Beach Tour? Anything else not to miss on Cozumel? Thanks!:) :) :)

We went here on our 8/3 cruise and it is a really wild place around the bar. We were there around 8 pm and they were having a conga line where there were about 7 rest stops.....at each rest stop they would pour a shot of tequila in your mouth (free of charge). Needless to say, if you made it all the way through the line you had 7 shots of tequila.....you can see why things can get a bit wild!!! The waiters all stop and dance to certain songs, waitresses come by and ask if you want to buy a shot, beware if you say yes....they pour you the shots, shake your head around in their hands, grab your chest and squeeze (male or female) and slap your derriere. I witnessed this time and again (did not participate, though). The shots were about $3

We had fun but would not bring younger children anywhere near the bar.
