Hi All,

I wanted to let you know I called MS and asked to speak to Carli, to lodge my complaint about the location of my standard view BW villa (over the luggage cages in a make-shift loading dock). Myself and my guests could not sleep, and management paid me lip service but in the end, did nothing for us.

I was told today that Carli is no longer serving in that capacity. It was unclear whether she has left DVC or is now in another position. I did speak directly with Brianna who handles the correspondence for "John" who is the manager. I told her my concerns and what happened, and she told me she or John would be getting back to me.

Maybe the new folks in Member Satisfaction will actually get back to people. We shall see. :goodvibes

I too appreciate the information. If anyone finds out the new manager's full name and e-mail address, that would be great to post.

I was at the SSR meeting and was talking to Rick Burnley. He handed me his card and it says on his business card:

Member Services

I have his email address, would it be approprite to post it or should it go via PM?
 

Carli is still with DVC. I spoke to her at the OKW Annual Meeting last week. She has another position within Member Services. Jon is the new Member Satisfaction Manager. Carli & Jon are working closely to assist DVC members.

Rick Burnley is the manager of Member Services. I do not think it would be appropriate to post his email address on a public bulletin board.

This post was really puzzling to me as I spoke with Carli on Monday. She took forever to get back to me. Maybe she was busy transitioning to a new position.

She definitely still works for DVC, well at least as of Monday.
 
I had a problem at OKW last Sunday--told them I had the Dining Plan and both the CM and resort manager on duty told me I didn't. Since I'd made priority seatings and discussed how many credits the respective meals would be, I didn't understand how it couldn't have been noted on the reservation. I ended up getting it thanks to Guest Services "Anna Beth" in MGM, and spoke with "John" from MS the next day. He didn't know why the OKW staff didn't address the issue because a) someone from MS is on-call on Sundays and could have been paged and, B) MYW + Dining had been entered on my reservation. He said he'd definitely look into it. But it started my week off with a damper. :furious:
 
I think we've seen several people serve 2 or 3 years then have someone else take over while the original person stayed within MS. It seems they have treated it much like an elected position that rotates rather than a true management position. Whether it was planned this way or happened by default due to burn out or other reasons, I don't know.
