Can you get a caricature done at any of the parks in Disney World? If so, where are the artists located?

Don't remember the parks too well I think Epcot in world showcase but there was someone on the boardwalk back in May.

Yes you can...I know for sure at MK (by liberty tree and main st by where they make silhouettes) and AK plus at different resorts like WL (in lobby by store) and BW (in evening). DS loves to get his caricature done - we have a bunch hanging in his room. If you're interested our favorite artist is in AK...he's GREAT! My favorites caricatures are the ones he's done. In fact we went to him specifically this trip and he did 2 great drawings.

He's in Dinoland and sits right opposite the play area...it's an area set up for caricatures. He usually wears the floppy rimmed safari hat, wears glasses and has a goatee. My son asked for unusual caricatures like Uyleyss Grant, and Elvis..this year he drew my son as Frank Sinatra and Benny Goodman. His name begins with an "M" I believe and he comes from the town where Rosemary Clooney was born.

If you get the chance, I would go to him.

The only place we've had them done was in DTD (there is a Kiosk) and at Wilderness Lodge (we were staying there - didn't go out of our way)

The guy in AK in Dinoland is awesome. He is actually from our hometown. My daughter had his niece as a teacher last year. We try to find him every year.

Thanks! My boyfriend and I went to Disneyland last summer and had one done there. It's very well done and the girl who drew it was so nice... we could have talked for hours! My boyfriend had the idea that we should get one done every time we take a Disney vacation. Good to know the artists are all over the Disney World resort!

Wondering if I could tag a question on here... Do you think an artist could draw one off a picture of someone (they won't be with us) and does anyone know if they can do it with an IASW theme? My son's orchestra teachers loves IASW and thought this would be a great gift to have framed for him since my son is graduating and has had him for 6 years as a music teacher

We've always had ours done at our resort, but now I'm definitely gonna have look for the guy in Dinoland to have them done!

This is what our DD's do. Each year we have another caricature done of them. It's fun to see the perspective of each artist. While each caricature looks like our daughters, they are all unique. DD's display all of them (in order) in their rooms. Fun souvenir!

It depends on the artist. DH asked the 3 at MK (near Tiana). One said yes, 2 said no - no because they wouldn't be able to get a good caricature off a picture. We had 3 different pictures of the person.

We never got it done because the wait was so long!
