I don't get why there would be a charge for EARLY checkout? Do they hold you hostage until 11:00 a.m.? I wonder if this is not a problem with Hotels.com rather than the hotel? Please let us know if you called them.

Yes, once you confirm the dates of your stay at check-in you are responsible for an early departure fee should you choose to depart the hotel prior to the scheduled date. That fee is $50.00.

Applies if you want to cut your stay short. Better deal then being charged full rate for the days you skip.

Charge for AC and the wording of the early check out fee. Has to be an issue with hotel.com

I just checked hotels.com and I don't see any reference to charges for A/C. Either the mistake was corrected or the OP wasn't looking at hotels.com

I have researched this hotel heavily as we are staying here in August for 4 nights. I've read a ton of trip advisor reports not one makes mention of paying for A/C. I'm positive if a hotel made you pay for A/C it would have made it into the trip reports.

It certainly is on Hotels.com Scroll to the bottom of the page under

However, I have come to the conclusion that it must be a hotels.com thing because several of the Hotels including the Holiday Inn, Clarion Inn, Hilton etc. all say the same thing.

I stayed at the caribe for two nights before checking into our disney hotel. And we did not pay a fee for a/c. I did book my room directly with the hotel. It is a beautiful hotel and very close to disney . I would stay there again in a heartbeat !

I haven't stayed here yet, but have communicated with hotel staff about a few things in preparation for our trip. They have been wonderful both in the phone and online.

We were there this past weekend, and absolutely loved it! Definitely did not pay for a/c, that was definitely inaccurate. The early checkout isn't as in before 11am, but rather if you reserve for 3 nights and opt to check out after 2 nights, they charge a $50 fee. We loved the spacious suite (we were in the 2 bedroom "villa"), the pool/hot tub area, the cleanliness and friendly staff, the restaurants, and the great location. We would go back to this hotel in a heart beat, and likely will be returning to it in October if not before.
