has anyone been here recently? is it has nice as it looks on the outside and how are the 1br suites? also is it easy to get to disney from here? help!!!

We stayed there a few years ago and it was fantastic. Beautiful resort and the one bedroom suite was nice and roomy. Wonderful lobby, landscaping, pool, and restaraunts. We even got a free buffet breakfast every day. I don't know if they still do it.

As far as getting to DW, turn right out of the parking lot and drive about a mile and you're there. Now, you do know how big DW is, so you still have to get to where you want to go.

If we weren't staying on-site, that's where we'd go again.

We stayed there for three nights in Nov 04 and found it quite enjoyable. The pool area was great - they have a waterslide and a really, really large pool with waterfall area. They also have a small spray park area next to the pool. We had a 2 bed villa, which was huge - bigger than Beach Club Villas - more in line with OKW size. Very clean and neat. I think we only paid about $160 a night, which compared to the $400 night we paid for BCV - oh, the price we pay to stay onsite!
It is very close to the Downtown Disney entrance - it would take about 10-15 mins to get to Epcot and a little more for MK.

We stayed at Caribe Royale for my two Disney trips and LOVED it. We saed so much money by being off site. Our family got a nice roomy villa. I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel whatsoever. There was not a single negative part of my stay! I recommend it!

Is it true that if you are staying at their sister resort, Buena Vista Suites, you can use the pool facilities at the Caribe Royale? I have read this and no one will own up to it! :confused3

No, this question is asked frequently and it is not true. Buena Vista Suites guests are supposed to use the BVS pool.

This is great news. DH and I are heading to the Caribe in April for a convention. He goes to the sessions and I lounge around the pool! What a life!
