Caribbean Excursion Times

This is the first we are going on the Fantasy. As I was looking at the different excursions offered, I was surprised at how short of time you get at each excursion. For Tortola and St Thomas/St John, many of the excursions were around 3-4 hours. If you are at the island for 8-9 hours, I am surprised that these excursions are so short. As people mentioned on this site, if you go to St John, you will get less than 45 minutes on the beach. Or the trip to the Baths is as long as the time as you spend at the Baths. Are these times accurate or do you get to spend more time than advertised? Just confused.

They are accurate and include meeting time and getting off the ship. Run by local operators to there times.

It does seem like it will be rushed. Then again, I don't want to sign up for 8 hours and be ready to leave before it is time to go... Maybe they are hoping people will do two excursions?
