Hello, this has probably been asked before so I apologize. My husband, my 5 year old and I are going on April and are booked at Pop. Is it worth changing the reservation to CBR for a few extra bucks? I'm not sure what to expect with my dd in the parks as far as time in them. I've also read there are transportation issues with CBR. Is that true?
Thanks in advance!

The multiple bus stops around CBR and size of the resort keep me from booking it. I prefer the buses at Pop because there is one bus stop and then you go directly to the park.

Any resort can have bus issues. It's been our experience that CBR does not have more or less issues than any other resort. Our last 6 trips we have stayed at CBR and can't see staying anywhere else. We regularly come back to CBR for afternoon swim breaks without issue.

What you will get at CBR over Pop.
Bigger rooms
Double sinks
Queen beds
Pool slides
Hot tubs
Multiple covered bus stops
Sit down restaurant
Lusher grounds
More laid back relaxed atmosphere

Now it's up to you to decide if the little extra money is worth it.

We actually did a split stay between Pop and CBR on my twins' first trip. We much preferred CBR. For us it was the space in the room; Pop rooms are small. Maybe it was because we were traveling with two two-year-olds and all their stuff but we could barely wait to have more space. We also prefer the theming of CBR. Pop is too "loud" for us, not necessarily in terms of noise volume. I can't remember there being any bus issues with the multiple stops at CBR; I tend to think there can be bus issues at any hotel so I wouldn't let that sway my decision.

I haven't every stayed at CBR. It looks nice though. I have stayed at POP and will be staying there for one night coming up in January.
The bus situation is what keeps me from booking too.

I haven't stayed at CBR yet..but we loved the POP. The food court was great, and everything was always clean.

I think CBR has an unfair bus reputation because of the number of stops, on our trip last December, 75% of the bus routes only covered half the stops, they had buses entering both directions and only making three stops each then off to the parks.

I would much rather have an additional couple of bus stops than have to do double beds and and small room, small bathroom, we rarely swim but the CBR pool is one of the best non-deluxe pools. More of a resort feel than you get at any of the values.

Exactly! Agree 100%!

Also, the stops at CBR are covered as opposed to the in-the-elements lines at POP. TBH, I had a worse time with the busses at POP because I'd be waiting in the chains like assigned only to have a massive group of teens come flying up when a bus appeared - they would have one or two leaders in line and the kids would be in the gift shop or something waiting for the signal. More than once I and others around me ended up having to wait for another bus because the group filled the first one. And none of the CMs around were doing anything about it.

True there are no organized lines at CBR, but I've never had the issue of GROUPS jumping in front of me. Maybe a family or two, and yeah, maybe I've had to stand but a) that doesn't bug me (I look at it as core strengthening exercises) and b) I've sometimes had to stand at POP as well.

Right, no organized lines, but places to sit while waiting in the covered stops. I forgot that, going to be standing in enough lines as it is.
