Carribean Beach vs Hawthorn Suites LBV....

We get free breakfast buffet (deluxe) @ Hawthorn LBV every a.m. and have interior corridors and a quick walk to / from hotel to car.

We will be out at the parks 95% of the time, all day pretty much and possibly to go home late afternoon to chnge for dinner, if there is even time.

What are the benefits of staying at CBR vs Hawthorn LBV?
We don't have any kids and we are renting a car

If you're really doing commando, DH always says "it's just a room to sleep in." I have to admit that drives ME nuts as I obsess over on or off-site, value to deluxe, 2 bedroom with laundry vs studio, and then there's Priceline sorts of issues.

More seriously there's the parking charge if you stay off-site. At the risk of being flamed, I think off-site gets you larger rooms and the possibility of more amenities. I firmly believe the magic is what you make it, and some of my best stays have occurred off-site. There are many on these boards who think that you must stay on site to have a good vacation--I do not agree.

Taking a mid-day break is important if the park hours allow it. You will definitely get more of your vacation. And don't forget the water parks. Many of our best memories come from floating on tubes in lazy rivers.
