I need insight on CBR and FW cabins. Here’s my situation:

Was booked 4 nights at POFQ for March 21. I called to modify my dates. Was told the only moderate that would be open for my new dates (November) was FW cabins. Took it, but still had to pay the difference (still more $$ even with 35% discount for loss of free dining). Now that opening of CBR has been announced. Should I switch?

What we liked about FQ was the smaller size, one bus stop, boat to Disney Springs, perfect amount of room (1 adult and 2 teens). This is our first visit on property, so I have absolutely no experience with any Disney resort. Thanks in advance for your insight!

Fort Wilderness is a mix of cabins, RV sites, and campsites. While the cabins are very nice (in my opinion), it's a much different vibe than the other resorts. While CBR is decently large (it has an internal bus option, whereas POFQ most definitely doesn't), I think it will give you more of a traditional hotel resort stay, if that's what your after.

Edited to remove some bits as I got my resort acronyms mixed up!

While CBR is large as well (it does have a convention center and over 2000 rooms), I think it will give you more of a traditional hotel resort stay. It does have multiple bus stops at the resort though.

CBR has 1536 rooms and no convention center. Maybe you're thinking of CSR?
