We'd like to stay 1 more night in Orlando and I'm wondering whether CB or CS would be a better option. We'd check-out of AKV in the morning, spend the day at MK, then go to the hotel just to spend the night; we probably won't spend much time at the hotel before driving home the next morning.

I understand both hotels are being refurbished, but I'm not sure what will be available/unavailable in October. Pools? Restaurants?

Which one has bigger standard rooms? Better pool for kids?

Thanks in advance!

CBR's rooms are slightly larger, but CSR has less construction disruption (the pool and dining are not affected).

They both have great main pools. CBR has the advantage of a splash pad and zero entry pool. CSR has a longer slide and the biggest hot tub on property...there is also QS available right in the pool deck area.

Thank you!

CSR was actually my least favorite resort that we stayed at. It had too much of a corporate feel, and they completely ignored my room request (I know it's not a guarantee, but we honestly weren't asking for much). We loved CBR, and the pool is even more beautiful now.

I have the exact opposite feelings. I love CSR, but it would take a lot to get me to stay at CBR again. Starting with the roaches in the fridge....

If the pool is your main goal, the only stay at CBR if your book preferred. Otherwise you may end up with quite a walk to the themed pool.

@Tinker_Belle - I've never gotten my room requests at any of the Disney resorts at which we've stayed. (This time, I'm going to try faxing my requests).

We always do both (phone and fax), only one or two simple requests (like a building), in priority order, and usually get everything we ask for. Hope it works for you this time. Good luck!

CBR is my least favorite moderate hotel option. I definitely vote for CSR, didn't find it "corporate" at all - hardly noticed that it was a convention hotel. Everyone has different opinions.
