Caribbean Beach to Contemporary resort bus time

I want to book a 7PM chef mickey buffet dinner for 08 SEP 10 at the Contemporary resort. We plan on staying at the Caribbean Beach resort. I take it buses run from CBR to CR? If so how much time should I allow for the bus drive? Do buses run every "x" minutes? Thanks!

It's my first time stay at Disney and been 10+ years since I was last there.

There are no resort-to-resort buses. Buses are out of the parks and DD. So you would take a bus from the Carribean beach to the MK and from there take the resort monorail to the Contremporary. I would give yourself 30min to be safe. Buses come along quickly but it takes time to make the transfer.

Or if you are in the parks that day, plan on being in the MK in the afternoon and take the monorail over. That's how my DH and I typically plan our ressies. We figure out where the extra magic hours are and then make a dinner ressie near or in that park Are you planning on watching the fireworks from there that night? We also book 5/5:30 meals so we don't miss them. It's about an hour to hour 15min for a sit-down meal.

If your coming from Caribbean Beach don't forget to see what time the Magic Kingdom closes, because I think they only operate 2 - 3 hours after it closes since you will need to get back there from the Contemporary. However another option would be to take a Taxi directly to the Contemporary, assuming you don't mind paying for it and it will be the fastest way to get there.
