we are staying at the CBR for 9 days in january and we know that the kids are going to want to play on the beahces in the sand and stuff and i was wondering from anyone who has been there before, do you bring you own beach stuff (buckets, shovels etc.) or do you buy them down there? these kids love to build sandcastles adn they are already talking about doing that at the hotel

Well you certainly can bring your own, but to be honest you can buy certain kids meals and they come served in a bucket with a shovel attached...

Typhoon Lagoon also has a kids meal served in a bucket with a shovel. The food court at CBR does the same.

We bought lots of beach toys a few weeks ago at GF. The prices were unbelievably reasonable. We bought a white mesh basket with several toys, pail and shovel for $4. We bought a single pail and shovel for $1.04. The big mickey shovel was only $3. I wouldn't drag my toys down there and we didn't bring most of what we bought home.
