Caribbean Beach Resort FAQ Part 3

FW really is not a deluxe accommodation no matter what it is called. I'm betting more people will take a look at FW because it is now in the moderate category instead of deluxe.

Back to CBR -- we also have a late arrival next Tuesday. Our plane gets in around 10:00, so it will likely be 11:30 before we get to CBR. We'll have ME for our checked bags. We just want to get to our room, clean up and go to bed so we can start our day early on Wednesday. Can we ask that they hold our bags until the next day and just deliver them when we're gone? Who do we make that request with? The registration desk? Luggage services? ME?

Thanks!

Let me know what you find out about this please! :goodvibes

They seem to be putting in lots of hours. Lots of plants waiting to be planted. Lots of workers there today. It is almost done.

Sounds like the pool will be done soon. Can't wait to see pics, I might have to consider saving some $$$ and booking CBR instead of BC.

I'm leaving for CBR tomorrow morning, so I'll try to post an update on the pool during the week.

We are debating on getting a preferred room. I understand that there are busses that stop at each village. From what i have seen it looks like the villages are surrounding a lake. So the main pool is on one side of the lake. If we are staying across the lake how long will it take us to walk there?

Just a few quick minutes (maybe 5 at most?) across the bridge from Aruba or Jamaica, and maybe 7 from Barbados? Those are guesses and examples, but I really don't think it takes long!

I forgot about the bridge. I was worried that it may take 20 minutes, with 2 toddltes with us, I was a bit worried. My husband doesnt want to pay for an upgraded room.

I've only stayed in preferred locations, but there are a ton of people on this thread who rave about Aruba and Jamaica! :thumbsup2 They are right across the bridge, and honestly, it probably doesn't even take the 5 minutes I estimated....

Is Barbados the furthest village to be in from the main pool?

If it's not it certainly felt like it this past week-end. That's where we stayed & it was the last bus stop @ night and we seemed to walk forever to get to the food court Friday morning. I love the resort, it was my first time staying there, & I didn't realize what a walk it would be. Coming back Friday night at 3am after EMH it seemed like it took forever to get to Barbados.:cutie:

Technically Trinidad South is the furthest but Barbados has got to be close..

forgive me if i missed the info previously, but wasn't there talk of the pirate rooms being family suites? the pictures and prices don't seem to reflect that. any more word on that?

There has been nothing mentioned for Family Suites for the CBR. As you mentioned, with the concept art as well as the price structure, it does not appear this resort will get the much needed family suites or trundle beds.
