Caribbean Beach question

Looking forward to staying at the CBR this summer after hearing many good things about it. My question is, is there a building or location to request NOT to have. In other words, will we be happy where ever they put us at that resort? My kids are going to be DS15, DS13, DD11 and DS9.

We have stayed in Martinique 23, Barbados 16, and Aruba 54. I have seen posts that stated that Barbados was too far from the food court. We, however, did not find this to be the case. The walkway around the resort is a beautiful walk. Each "island area" has its own pool and beachfront area. If your concern is that you be close to the food court, I would request Martinque, Tinidad North, or Jamaica. Keep in mind, however, that there is virtually no difference in the walk from say Martinique 21 and Barbados 15.

This is one of our favorite resorts. We are returning for a week in March and can't wait to see the newly remodled food court. I think it would be a great resort for your teens. My kids are young (6 and 3) and they LOVE it!

How's it going? So now you are going to try CBR. Good Choice. Personally we like Martinique due to the close proximatey to the main area. The bus stop is also very close so there is no long walk back to room after a long day at the parks.

YES!!!!!!!!
Tell them NO Way to Trinidad SOUTH.
That "island" is so far away you have to take the internal bus to get anywhere! And if you do choose to walk the VERY LONG walk to the food court or main pool.......be prepared to have to cross a very busy street!!!!

Thanks for the responses. I will make sure to call and tell them no to Trinidad. Since we drive to Florida, we have a car and so we sometimes don't even use their transportation, so it's just the food court and the pool that is a concern. Of course, if we go separate ways, I will be the one to take the buses (since there's no way I'm trying to figure out the roads!), so I might be the one to end up caring about that.

mickeymom629........Trinidad North is great!! It is right next to the O' Port Royale. Just like Martinique.....but on the opposite side.

It is Trinidad SOUTH! that you don't want.

We have stayed at Martinique a number of times and Trinidad North and Jamaica once each and they were all good locations. I think Trinidad South would be a bit of a hike to OPR, though.

We usually request Martinique and have been accommodated all but those two times and the time we stayed at Jamaica it because they were re-doing the roof at Martinique.
