Looking to stay here next May. No car, is it massive and could you be miles away from the main building?
Bit worried as I have stayed in all the other moderate resorts but not here.

Have you been over to the resort thread - there is a complete CBR thread over there which might help

We stayed at CBR in 2010 & loved it, it was the first time we had stayed onsite. We were in building Jamaica 43, which was just a short walk over the bridge to the food court, quiet pool was close by as was a little beach with hammocks. I thought it was a really relaxing resort & although it's big you wouldn't know it as it's split into the different villages. We thought the bus service to the parks was very good.
I was definitely considering CBR for this year's trip, but wanted to try a different resort, so have booked a Royal Room at POR Riverside, just hope we like it as much as CBR.

I read a lot about the 4 moderates before we booked CSR. To be honest, each one has it's fans and it's critics. I'd try and check out both sides of the views, ask questions about anything you're not sure about specifically and try and make the best choice for you.

I do think some of the concerns that come from our American friends are sometimes a bit skewed by their cultural experience. Lots of Americans told us SSR has long walks and long waits for buses, and we found neither a problem, because we both walk places and catch buses in our normal lives!

Same with Coronado Springs! Currently staying there now, our 2nd stay at CSR - we love it here and don't find it as 'spread out' as some threads make out...

Visited CBR a few days ago. It is a large resort but theming etc looked great :)

You could have a look at the CBR thread, in the Disney Resorts forum. The thread is called The "New" Caribbean Beach Resort FAQ Thread! Part VIII Updated 4/7!

It has plenty of pictures, map, info and people's opinions on CBR that might help you. You can also post any questions you have to them for some info/advice to help you decide.

Also try places like TripAdvisor.

From the photos, it loves like a lovely resort with great theming.

We too stayed in Jamaica, the bridge is between Jamaica & Aruba so both have easy access to the bridge which is a lovely short stroll to the main building, friends stayed in Barbados & when we visited them, we found that was also a short stroll.
We didn't find it all that big & we had previously stayed at po French quarter wh is really small. We loved both of them. Would definitely return to crb.

It's a good few years since we stayed here but we really enjoyed it. We were in Martinique and enjoyed the walk to the food court. I definitely wouldn't class CBR as the worst of the moderates. I like them all for different reasons.

Thanks for your replies. I have booked after looking at the resort forum and your comments. I have stayed a lot at SSR and that's large but fine once you get to know your way round.

Personally I LOVE CBR! I stayed there with my Canadian friend (who lives in England!) and we had a ball. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was (I'll be asking if we can stay in Jamaica when/if we go in August - I'm angling to stay at ASMu but choice is my boyfriend's - I'll show him the threads/photos on here and it's up to him - he's had such an awful few years and is emphatically not a Disney fan ... he knows these are my two favourite hotels ...) because we didn't get to see much of the resort ..) I loved walked back to the room and hearing the crickets at night ... beautiful! I can only say that getting around from the main building etc was fine for us.

i enjoye dit and would go again , the pool themeing is lovely and it seems such a relaxing resort
