Last week the quiet pool was open 7 am to either 11pm or 12am. They have an area where they can change the tag on the sign.

It did not appear that the main pool was open 24 hrs., because when I went to get coffee at 6:30 it did not appear open, as no one was in there. However, you can sometimes get in to walk around it , but no lifeguards are there yet.

When we were there 6/13-6/21, the main pool was open 24/7 with lifeguards there from 10am to 10pm. The slide was open only during the lifeguard hours. There often were very few people in it at night, but sometimes there were quite a few.

It was nice to get in the main pool on a humid night after returning from the parks!

Are there any beach umbrellas available on the beach areas? Or would it be o.k. if I brought one to use if we decide to sit on the beach and relax?

Just returned home from CBR. I will miss sleeping in my pirate bed and we are already planning trip #2! CBR!

I understand how you feel. Every time we leave WDW, we start planning our next trip. It helps beat the blues.

I don't recall ever seeing any umbrellas on the beach. Just hammocks and beach chairs.

Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I so appreciate it. My family and I are going to hope that the pool is open 24 hrs when we get there in Sept. We are such night owls.

Keep in mind the slides and kids pool area will be closed if there are no lifeguards on duty.

Only 10 months until our 2 week vacation at CBR. We stayed 2 weeks at POFQ in April but want to try something diffrent. Can I pack now?

Go to www.disneyworld.com and click on My Disney Vacation (top right hand corner). On the next page, enter your reservation number and telephone number in the Online Checkin section.

Can't wait to go in August!!! We have been to Disney alot and it never gets old for me!! I have never used online check in. My concern is that once you do online check in you won't be able to try to change you villiage if you not happy with the location or in my case we have a preferred either Martinique or Trinidad North but I have "requested" certain buildings ( both my Mother and Aunt have mobility problems and my Mom has breathing problems) I try to limit their walking distance. They will use scooters in the parks. In the past if its not a building we want the CM can try to see what else is available.

From what I've read, yes. There is a dedicated line for on-line check in and they are just more prepared when you arrive and have all of your documents and information ready.

We decided to go for the upgrade. $400 seems like a lot of $$(it is) but we really need to experience something different and still get to save some money w/free dining. DS-4 is really into swimming right now and just drools over pictures of the pool. I think we'll be spending a lot of time there.
We'll be going Oct 3-10. Can't wait!!!

There is a television in the Custom House so that kids can watch cartoons while their parents are checking in.

Each village has their own bus stop so you're never far from a bus stop no matter what building you are in.

We did online check in and the room I was assigned was not ready when we arrived. I asked to be switched to a room that was ready and they did it without any problems. I would do online check in and call to add building/room request before you arrive. They did their best to accommodate us.

I don't think I've seen milk at the refillable station. I know that they sell it in the grab n go section of the food court and way over in the corner of the store, you'l find a half gallon.

We will need connecting rooms as we are a family of six. Ideally we would have a king size bed in one room and doubles in the other. Are there connecting rooms with this set-up? I know it is extra for a room with a king bed. Are you guaranteed a king if you reserve one?

I believe that connecting rooms are a request and not a guarantee. Our kids are young (5, 8, 11, 14), so connecting rooms are a big deal to us. What are the odds that our connecting room request would be granted?
