Lol that's what I keep telling my non-Disney-loving friends when they ask "Why would you travel all the way down to FL to work for bad pay?" lol. They just don't understand :upsidedow

lol Totally Agree, some people just dont get us. So What is your role?

I originally wanted to do the Internationl Program (versus International College Program) because I really want to work in the Canadian EPCOT pavillion. I'd love that so much. It'd be wicked fun.
But because I want to go to school, I can't do it.. not sure what I want to do otherwise.

I am hoping for attractions...and I don't believe it is job, it is more of putting joy into people's life.

It all depends on you. If you feel like you need to take a year off and kind of...grow as a person, then you should do CS. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see some of the world before you're locked up in college for 4+ years.

Personally, if I do it at all I will do the college program. I don't want to tie myself down for 7 months in a brand new (kind of, lol) atmosphere where I know absolutely nobody. But if I do the CP it will only be for a few months. If I don't like it, then that's fine, and if I do then I can sign up for another semester of it.

So what do you want to work as? Personally, I'd love to do attractions. Any attraction...I'm not picky. :)

The shortest CP term is about 5 months.

Sort of a tip to those wanting to do the CP - it requires that you only complete at least 1 semester of college...but I recommend waiting until your sophomore year. Because like you said, it will be time in a different environment - but if you spend some time at college first, adjust to dorm living and living on your own, it helps the transition BIG TIME. After your freshman year of college, you will feel a different level of maturity and independence...so while right now you may say you wouldn't want to tie yourself down in a new atmosphere, after a year of college, you might feel different. And college in itself is a different atmosphere. Depending where you go and if you commute or not, you might not know anyone and it will definitely be a different experience than in high school.

The best part of anything that requires you to try something new and surround yourself with a different scene or with different people, is that you develop as a person and your independence/maturity sky rockets.
