Care to share your plans?

We're leaving two weeks from tomorrow. We're starying at Carribean Beach for 7 nights. It will be our first time staying onsite. Here's our plans so far.

Arrival Day: early flight, Disney Quest and shopping at DTD in the afternoon, dinner at Fulton's Crabhouse and a nightcap at Pleasure Island.

Day One: MGM in the morning, Atlanta Braves v. Cardinals at WWOS in the afternoon (to keep my husband happy!), Fantasmic and EMH at MGM in the evening.

Day Two: Epcot EMH in the morning, anniversary :love2: dinner at Artist Point, drinks at Pleasure Island

Day Three: Magic Kingdom. Illuminations at Epcot.

Day Four:Animal Kingdom. EMH at Magic Kingdom in the evening.

Day Five:We'll probaby just park hop between MGM and Epcot. Jellyrolls in the evening.

Day Six: Waterpark in the morning and park hop in the afternoon. Dinner at Ohana's.

Day Seven: late breakfast at Donald's, park hop in the afternoon. 8:30 pm flight home.

I hope everyone has a great time on their trips :cool1:

We are going 10/15 -10/23, mainly for the F&W Fest.

Staying at Vistana Villages. (Hope it lives up to its reputation)

Plan on 4 days at Epcot. Lunch and Learn. Party of The Senses. Eating Around the World. All the rides/attractions/concerts. Oh, and doing the Segway Tour - REALLY looking forward to that!

One full day at Animal Kingdom...dinner at Jiko's or Boma - haven't decided.

One full day at Kennedy Space Center and an Airboat Ride.

One full day for me at Magic Kingdom, DH on a fishing excursion that lasts all day.

One full day devoted (mid-week, probably Wed.) to hotel and DTD, maybe a movie and shopping, but very low key :)

Well, that is our eight days in a nutshell. Considering Sleuth's Mystery Dinner and/or Cirque.

Just me and DH - our fourth trip in the last eight years to WDW.

Anyone have any suggestions or comments? TIA! :flower:

Kinda long............sorry

We are a family of four with Twin 8 year old girls. We are in moderately fair athletic condition. My girls love "big kid" rides and don't want to ride the kiddie rides. So to that we will be able to skip some of the "kiddie" rides and focus on bigger attractions but still stopping to meet characters and enjoy alot of the magic designed for their age.

Our trip is for 8 nights 9 days for the week of May 14 - May 22nd. We are leaving Philadelphia in the afternoon arriving in Orlando at 3:55pm. Hoping to arrive at the CR around 4:30. Hopefully we will get a good room arriving that late in the afternoon. We purchased 7 day park hopper's and the MYW Dining plan. I have all my PS's for the week. Our general rule of thought has been to maximize our park time and allow for rest. Most days will have the following schedule (or something close to this).

- Arrive at park very early (first thing).
- Tour parks using info from UG, TGM, Passporter and the disboard of course.
- Leave parks around 1 - 2 PM (except day at MGM)
- Go back to hotel for Rest or swim or whatever we feel like.
- Most of our PS's are for early dinners so we will have a leisurely afternoon, get dressed for dinner - go to dinner then go to a park for the evening.

Here's the outline for our trip considering Park hours and the following, recently posted EMH for the time we will be there.

This is gonna be a long day as we don't plan to leave until after Fantasmic. I figured with the time it takes to travel between the CR and MGM. The number of sit down shows (rest) and our ressie for dinner (4:20pm) we should stay all day. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to do this? I'm concerned this is too much for one day. This is what I have planned so far.

- Breakfast in our room (bringing our own cereal).
- Spend day at MGM doing almost everything. Hopefully alot of sit down shows.
- Lunch @ ABC Commissary.
- Afternoon Touring.

Any thoughts, suggestions or tips on this itinerary would be a big help. I haven't been to Disney since I was 11 in 1977 so I am only going on what I have read and the wisdom of those on these boards. Thanks for all your help everyone

I'm making my first ever solo trip in May. I have an AP and the DDE so plan on eating places I didn't get to try with my picky eaters. I've never been solo before and am so excited. I intend to take three tours, spend alot of time in each country at Epcot, and enjoy the Flower Festival and concerts.

I originally booked May 14th-May 21st at POP Century, but now am renting DVC points at Boardwalk Villas for May 15th- May 20th and will be spending one night prior and one night after at POP. If AP codes come out, I would like to add a day before and a day after at POP (for a total of four nights at POP and five nights at BWV). If I can add the extra days I may need to change my plans and would like to add a spa day, but right now I have PS and tours booked as follows:

Sat 5/14
Arrive around 10:30 and head to DTD
L-Earl Of Sandwich
D-Bomas (at AKL)

Sun 5/15
Epcot & check-in at BWV
Sedgway Tour
L-Marrakesh
D-Biergarten

Mon 5/16
AK
Backstage Safari Tour
L-Tusker House
D-Rainforest Cafe

Tues 5/17

L-LeCellier
D-Rose & Crown
Illuminations (on R&C patio?)

Wed 5/18
MK
KTTK Tour
L-Columbia House (with tour)
D-Pecos Bill's
Wishes

Thurs 5/19
MGM
L-SciFi
D-Mama Melrose Fantasmic Pkg
Fantasmic

Fri 5/20

Check back into POP :sad2:
B-CP
L-Tony's
Spectromagic

Sat 5/21

L-House of Blues
Back to airport :sad2: (unless I get a AP Code and add 2 days onto my vacation :Pinkbounc  )

This will be our third trip - from here on we are going every year!!!

We are staying at CBR 7/7-7/18. This will be our first time staying at a moderate, so we are excited!

I know that we want to do Chef Mickey's and explore the Boardwalk this time. We are just beginning to plan our days and as soon as the EMH are announced  we will be able to firm up our plans.

I would LOVE to share our plans....

We are going to be in the Happiest Place on Earth May 8-13. My sister-in-law and her family are also going that time too! So there will be 11 of us there!
My family is staying at Old Key West in a 2bd villa. (I LOVE THIS RESORT!) Her family will be in a 1 bd unit.
My daughter is turning 16 on the 12th of May and we are celebration it at Chef Mickey's! I am having a slipper made for her. We plan on being in the MK for the day, if anyone is there and wants to say :bday: , she'll be the one in the "Sweet 16" ears and a birthday sash that reads "SWEET 16 and NEVER been KISSED"
We have PS for Ohana's and Donald's Duck's Breakfast!
I hope I can make this an unforgettable birthday for her... :wizard:
You only turn 16 once!
We are hoping that we will see the shuttle launch. It is suppose to launch on the 12th, but as we all know that can change.

My brother and I are planning our second trip for Sept. 8 thru 20, 2006 (we haven't been there since May 1978). We'll be staying at All-Star Movies for the first 6 nights, then at the Contemporary Resort for the remainder. Here's what we have mapped out for our touring schedule (so far):

Day 1: Downtown Disney
Day 2: Animal Kingdom
Day 3: Disney-MGM
Day 4-5: Epcot
Day 6: Go back and revisit favorites from these parks
Day 7-13: Magic Kingdom

We're not exactly sure of all the attractions we'll be seeing (since things seem to change so often at WDW). We're still looking through guidebooks to figure it out, but you can bet that we'll spend alot of time on the classic rides (Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Adventures, etc.-- Mr. Toad will be greatly missed, though).
