Looking to build a itinerary for 3 weeks so looking for some inspiration of how everyone plans thier holiday

Think I made one last time I went, kinda stuck to half of what was planned lol

Are you looking for daily itineraries within the parks, or just a general day to day plan? If our trip next summer works out, what we originally "planned" on was this:

Day 1: Rest day (will be driving almost 3000 km to get there, so we want a day to unwind). Hoop Dee Doo Revue for dinner or Dine with an Animal Specialist
Day 2: Animal Kingdom (because that's the park my son wants to start with)
Day 3: Magic Kingdom
Day 4: Hollywood Studios (stay for fireworks/evening shows)
Day 5: rest day
Day 6: Epcot
Day 7: Lego Land
Day 8: Sea World (stay for fireworks if they have them)
Day 9: rest day
Day 10: Animal Kingdom (stay for night time entertainment)
Day 11: Magic Kingdom (stay for Wishes)
Day 12: rest day

Our day to day plan

Day 1: Fly to MCO in the evening, take ME to resort, check in, grab dinner(or at airport), bedtime.
Day 2: SeaWorld 9a-3p. Evening spent in Disney Springs.
Day 3: Magic Kingdom AM... mid day break... Magic Kingdom PM (parade and fireworks)
Day 4: Animal Kingdom AM.... mid day break.... Rivers of Light
Day 5: Hollywood Studios AM .... mid day break... Epcot PM (illuminations)
Day 6: Sleep in... late breakfast/tour resorts and see holiday decorations/... Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Day 7: Universal?/Shopping?
Day 8: Animal Kingdom/Hollywood Studios (fireworks/evening entertainment)
Day 9: Epcot AM... mid day break ... Epcot PM (Candelight Processional)
Day 10: Magic Kingdom AM.... mid day break/pack, etc ... Magic Kingdom PM

That's the bones of our December trip.

April trip
Day 1: Magic Kingdom all day
Day 2: Animal Kingdom/Hollywood Studios (star wars fireworks!)
Day 3: Epcot all day (illuminations)
Day 4: Magic Kingdom all day

With a 3 week trip I think we need to know more about what YOU want to do, do you have park hoppers, are you driving or flying? staying on site? just doing disney? or are we throwing in other parks? ages of everyone in your family/interests.

Here's what I would say just off a GENERAL idea for a 3 week itinerary.
1:Arrival, relax, check into hotel, maybe go for a swim. If you're staying at a deluxe, maybe have a nice dinner at one of their restaurants
2. Magic Kingdom, open to close, really throw yourself into the magic. If you need a nap, head back for that
3. DHS for at least the morning
4. Animal Kingdom, depending when you're going, it might be an all day park, you might be done around 5pm, so you can have a relaxing evening
5. Rest day, explore the pool, sleep in
6. Universal, I like to park hop here
7. Universal again, park hop, explore city walk, have a nice dinner or some drinks there
8. Sleep in, head back to DHS to do anything you missed, check out the evening stuff if you haven't yet.
9. Epcot all through the day
10. MK again, there's easily the most to do here

...yeah I'mma just stop there and kinda let you take it from there..

Basically, 3 weeks is a LOT of time, but you still won't be able to do it all.
-MK could use 3 days there, that's for sure
-Epcot MAYBE could do 2 dependson the ages of your family
-A second DHS/EPCOT day could be split hopping between each because they are closer
-Universal for me I can do in pretty much 1 day but I don't really like their rides, if you've got BIG HP fans, or BIG thrill ride junkies, schedule a 3rd day here
-Do multiple rest days, one could be entirely at the hotel, with dinner somewhere, at another hotel. One could be over at DTD, a movie, mini golf, etc
-DAK to me I would schedule 2 days, throw in a meal at Yak & Yeti sit down, esp if ROL is running
-Seaworld is worth checking out, you could also throw in Discovery Cove to really expand things
-Use days like DAK to head back early and have an early bedtime
-Epcot is always a great sleep in day because showcase doesn't open til 11
-DHS is a good nap day because you can accomplish things in the morning and then go back to the hotel for a break before coming back for Fant

-Use easy wdw & UT to look at crowd calendars and schedule days according to that, it'll give you an idea of what to do when
