My friend is collecting homemade cards for the US Soldiers, I've done 11 so far. I'm going to try and do a total of 29 (1 for each day of the month)

thanks. It's the least I can do for our soldiers.

I got the butterfly back in 2005. It's one of those ek success jolee's boutique things...It was a small package and held 2 felt butterflies (yellow and pink)

Those are awesome! So you send blank cards for the troops to use to send back home to loved ones? Great idea.

Thank you and yes...It's called Operation Write Home.

I left the inside blank. I'm going to take white paper fold it in half and half again glue a part of it down to the inside. This way the soldiers have a lot of space to write to their loved ones.

My friend is collecting them till the end of the month. She is providing the envelopes and she will send them over.

there are rules to follow like no loose glitter because it can endanger our men and women. Some might fall off onto the uniforms and an enemies flashlight can bounce off it. All the cards must be 5.50 X 4.25, Can't be too bulky..etc.
