Now posted everywhere and just did a report on tv (not sure what channel). I saw very little of Golden Globes but I did see part where she arrived, went down a couple steps and was shaking and having great difficulty. In interviews she was holding on to people.

She has led a hard life of drugs and alcohol since age 13. In and out of rehab MANY times. Still using after she had these last kids. Been isolated since her son died and it began custody battle with ex because he felt her drug use would escalate with the death. 40 years of abuse to your body takes its toll on organs.

I think what is more shocking is those who do the same thing and live long lives.

Early word was that the prognosis wasn't good. I didn't want to believe it So incredibly sad, She will be dearly missed.

Genetics played a part and she was struggling desperately over the loss of her son.

So sad. She really struggled. I watched the red carpet interview with Priscilla at the Golden Globes a couple of nights ago. I am so sorry for her loss.

I wasn't paying attention to the interviews as they usually just talk fluff about the movie. So, I missed seeing the clues.

Tough to watch. She'd visited her Dads grave over the weekend for his birthday, Golden Globes Tuesday,...Austin's win, she'd been fighting Lockwood for years...then her sons death plus her fragile health. It was more than she could psychically handle. I hate it ended like this.

So do inherited heart conditions. Elvis at 42, Gladys 46, Lisa Marie 54 yes drugs played a role with E and Lisa Marie but the predisposition was there.

Elvis had also died of a heart attack at 42. It was always presumed that it was more due to his lifestyle and drug use. But, with Lisa Marie having a heart attack too, at 54, there may have been unknown genetic reasons.

she admitted to starting cocaine at 13, by 2013 she had already publicly admittedly to having done 5 individual stints in rehab. this was following her subsequent public admissions about becoming addicted to opioids following the birth of her twins. following her son's suicide (after his own long battles with addiction) there were many concerns regarding her physical and mental well being.

the genetics i see playing into this pertain to addiction vs. heart disease. gladys presley (lisa's paternal grandmother/elvis' mom) died of heart failure DUE TO LIVER FAILURE B/C of ALCOHOL POISONING. grandma was an alcoholic, dad was drug addicted, grandson (lisa's son) struggled with drug and alcohol addiction leading to his suicide, lisa heart gave out today.

at minimum 4 generations of documented addiction related deaths.

I don't usually get sad over stranger's/celebrity deaths. But I have not stopped thinking about it. I think it is how awful to lose a child to suicide - to lose a child at all. And divorce and custody issues in tandem, before, during and after --- such a lack of peace.

And probably because her life spans generations due to Elvis, of our own loved ones.

Let's not overlook the fact that Gladys had three brothers who died in their forties due to heart failure. It's likely her mother did too ...who happened to be married to her first cousin. Yes sunstance abuse also ran in the family which likely was a contributing factor.

Apart from everything else the last five years especially took a hard toil on Lisa Marie....custody fight, Lockwood after what money she had left, her son dying... More recently the film and her father's birthday anniversary this week was definitely stressful. Oh and she was also scheduled to testify against Danny Masterson.

Using drugs, and cocaine specifically, starting at 13 isn't the best thing if you already have a genetic history of heart issues.

she reportedly loved the depiction of her father in the film. her dad's death anniversary this week? that was back on august 7th.
