I finally got around to entering codes from our trip a few weeks ago and one of them had NOTHING typed into the white code box on the back. Does this happen often? It's totally blank :( How weird is that?

when we got our first batch from DLR the vmk guy told us to check all of our cards before we walked away just in case, so I guess it does happen!

I wouldn't say it happens often, out of the couple of hundred VMK cards I have and hundreds more I've seen of friends, I've only seen four blank cards as you describe.

In fact it only just happened. Two trips ago to DLR we got some Magic Mirror cards that were empty. The trip after I took them back and the Cast Member happily replaced them (and gave me an extra for my trouble :) ). About the same time I remember a thread on Dis where other people were having a simialr problem.

I've heard that some people actually seek out the blank cards as Collector Items. You know, like that famous upside-down bi-plane stamp? Heh.

BTW, which card was it that you had blank?

Birdmom's got a point. Ever since we had some bad Gold Ear cards (had codes, they just didn't work) we not only check to make sure there are codes on the back, but if it's something new or important (like our Halloween Pumpkins) we enter the card while still at DLR, preferably with a CM close by. :teeth:

:offtopic: By the way there is only one store left in the park (DLR) that still has gold mickey ear cards ( as of yesterday) and that is the mad hatter on main street, its was like a quest of my own finding them but I got 5 :cool1: also the little green men store is out of pin cards! :sad2:

Thanks for all the info!
It's a Huntsman's Heartless Hamper.
Nothing too important but interesting all the same. Perhaps I'll throw it up on the 'bay and if it doesn't sell hang on to it till our next trip and turn it in.

If you make a million selling it just remember your dis friends :rotfl2:

i got one from my trip too, and all in all, I have about 8 of them in my collection
