Hi,
can someone help please as I am starting to panic! When we were last at Disney I never used my pin number as we were always asked to sign for purchases; same at the Malls and Outlets.
Now, my SIL has said the signing machines aren't used and you have to put in your pin. Is this true and everywhere? I have a Fairfx card and a credit card I only use when we are away, and I don't know either of their numbers and we fly on Tuesday!!
Any help or advice would be appreciated!

More and more places using chip & pin. Walmart on the 525 and Publix at Vineland are both doing so. Some of the outlets (Converse I think) I still signed for (in US now).
Give you credit card a ring. Certainly Barclaycard can put you through to an automated system that can tell you your pin without waiting for a postal notification.

We still signed everywhere we went in July.

We went to FL Mall and shopped in:
Macy's
Pandora
Crocs
Victorias Secret
Best Buy

Also went to:
Walmart off Sand Lake Rd/John Young Parkway
Publix at Celebration

Last month I used my Halifax card for around 100 transactions, didn't need my PIN once, only place I knew I would need it was Walmart so I used my PO card (I remember the PIN for that one)
They are supposed to be introducing the Chip & PIN system over there but Walmart is still the only place I use that requires it.

Ah thanks:thumbsup2 Will try tomorrow x

You will need a PIN in Walmart and possibly other supermarkets. Otherwise, no need for a PIN.

Thanks Wayne! I have just got my Fairfx pin, (Went on their website and looked on FAQ's!) so I could use that in Walmart ;) xx

Thanks:) Looks like I will have to use my Fairfx card there then. I called the Nationwide this morning and they don't have an automated system. They are sending out a pin reminder and I should get it in 3 days! No good for me I'm afraid so am so pleased you have confirmed I can use the card without the pin!
Thank you! xx
