I have just started making cards and I am loving it. What is the best way to make a card glitter? Do you use glitter paint or something? I was looking at the $10.00 off web site and I put in the word glitter and I don't understand everything that was returned? What are "beads?" How do you apply them?

There are a couple of products that can help a card "glitter"

It kind of depends what you are glittering.

Stickles is a great product. I use mostly the clear (for quick sparkly highlights) and the yellow (for candles on birthday cards). The best way to describe this is it is a nice "glitter glue"

Stickles

Another nice product is from the Art Glitter Institute:

Art Glitter

For the Art Glitter, you would most likely need an art glitter tool kit, (i.e. tiny nozzel for the glue bottle) I have found that using Art Glitter, the cards become more putsy, and the glitter gets EVERYWHERE...on you, in your hair, by your eyes, on every work surface. Although...the glitter effect can't be beat.

I personally prefer the Stickles - I don't care for how messy I am with the Art Glitter. In addition,, if I am using 2 colors of Stickles, I can use them at the same time. If using the Art Glitter, you need to wait until 1 color is completely dry before you can go on to the next color.

And I've hardly ever used beads, so I can't help you too much with this. But I do feel comfortable enough saying, if you get the teeny tiny beads, ask the salesperson at the store what adhesive they recommend.

HTH!
