Do it yourself or go to car wash?

I washed my own the other day and won't do that again it came out all streaky lol.

Both
Sometimes do it myself but if I'm out and drive by the carwash I sometimes decide to pull in and let them do it.

Car wash where the water is managed more carefully. IIRC, I thought I had seen something that this is more environmentally friendly due to the reclaiming of the water and the "soap" not ending up in yards and storm drains.

We have a guy that comes to our work each week. I typically have him wash mine once a month.

Our country club washes cars on Saturdays. My husband rotates taking mine and his every other Saturday. They do it while he golfs.

My BIL is a manager at a car wash and if I show up while he is working he will just wave me through.

However, my daughter wants to wash my car this summer in an attempt to earn money for our trip to DL in the fall so I will be letting her do it for awhile.

A little mix of both actually.

The interior I totally do myself because most places would hit the dash and not the inside doors with armor all or whatever, so i'd rather do that myself. along with vacuuming, cleaning the inside of windows.

I do my rims myself and put stuff on my tires. I also put Rain X on the window when needed and my place charges about 4.00 to do it, that's just silly. I bought the stuff for less then 3, I can do that myself.

but I will run it through the car wash and the car wash has a dryer that does pretty good, then i run out and finish the rest with my chamois cloth.

I typically wash my own car - and others in the family. My retired father has a number of hot rods that he enjoys showing off at auto shows. He is attending his first of the season tonight come to think of it. I kind of became the professional car cleaner, preparer for the car events.

I give my kids a few bucks to do it when it's warm enough. Otherwise I go to a carwash.

Both. My kids like to wash it, so sometimes we do it together on a (rare...) nice day for fun. Most of the year is snotty weather here, though, and I'm not getting wet and cold over it. So if it really needs it I have it done at the place that does my oil, because they give you a free coupon with each oil change. And yes, that does mean my car will go up to three months without one. I live in a rural area and have a long dirt driveway. Car washing is a little pointless out here anyhow.

Neither. I'm really lazy, I have my son take it to the car wash.

It's funny because when I was in my teens to later twenties I would wash my truck twice a week myself and would never consider using a carwash, but now with less free time and theirs a local place that only charges like $4 to wash the outside and then you get to use the vacs for free, they also have a machine that cleans your mats. Its funny when you look back at life and see how priorities have changed.

I used to take our old car (DH's car) to get washed once a week. Then he started taking a "short cut" (dirt road) every day, and I refused to waste the money getting it washed regularly. Now the dirt road is closed, and we just bought a car for me, so today I bought car washing stuff at the store and washed DH's car, and tomorrow I'll wash mine.
