Hello!! :wave2:

I only registered yesterday and so am still very much a newbie!! :flower:

I won my holiday on a radio station with going places/ my travel and they have free car hire included. However we now need to get car insurance and travel insurance and I was hoping for some tips on both.

All info very much appreciated!

Thanks Anna :mickeybar

Can't really help with your car hire but we usually get holiday insurance with the post office,im sure there's cheaper and somone will be along to help you soon.

Just wanted to say hi and well done. How lovely winning a holiday.

save some money and forget your free car hire,
it is cheaper to hire a car with prepaid insurance as part of the package from elsewere.
booked ours via airline network but there are loads of options available on the net just try a search for orlando car hire and book it yourself and save some money.
good luck luckyshannon :goodvibes :goodvibes

You could take out your own car hire unsurance from Natwest for £99 for a year.

I use www.insurance4carhire for the car insurance (£103 / year with tax) and have had no problems.

M&S gets my vote for travel insurance.

We had to make a claim recently and I had the cheque in hand a little over a week from sending in the claim form ::MinnieMo

They're maybe not the cheapest around (nor the most expensive - I know they're cheaper than the post office) but I think there's something to be said for 'you get what you pay for' :sunny:
