This is our first trip to Disney. We saved a ton of money by flying in to a different airport and getting a car, so we'll have a rental car available throughout our trip. We're staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. How easy/difficult is it to park at resorts and parks? If we go back to our resort midday for a swim or something, could we easily then drive to a different resort for dinner? I imagine it's easier to park at the resorts than the parks. Do the parks have shuttles that run through the parking lot for people who have to park far away? Or would it be better to just rely on the Disney transportation?

It's not difficult although it can be a long walk from the hotel parking to your room.
I've never noticed parking shuttles at the resorts. There are shuttles at the theme park lots. We always rent a car and find it more convenient than taking buses. Although taking a bus to the Magic Kingdom might be quicker than driving.

The parks do have trams that run through the parking lot for those who park far away.
