car service vs. rental

Okay, we are travelling Nov 2-8 and have debated back and forth about whether to hire a car service or just rent a car. My worry is that if we rent something within our budget, it will be too small for all of our luggage. But, does the car service include luggage? And why doesn't anyone talk about cabs? Are they THAT expensive down there? If someone knows pros and cons, that would be great. We are also worried about getting a rental at the airport and getting lost on the way to WDW. Is it difficult to navigate the roads around Orlando? Any advice would be great!!

Getting from the airport to WDW is very easy. Take the south exit (well marked) and get on Route 417 (the Greenway). heading west. Follow signs for Disney World. Toll is either $2.00 or $2.50, I don't recall. I've also found driving around Disney to be very easy--signs are clear and well marked.

I've never taken a limo from Disney but I believe they include your luggage. You don't say how many people in your group or how long you're staying. If you feel you'll have a lot of luggage talk to one of the limo companies and ask. I believe limos are a little cheaper than cabs, and a lot nicer to ride in.

Tolls are $2.00 from the airport. I paid $49 for a taxi one way before tip on a business trip from CSR to the airport.

I would get a car and then you can go offsite or drive to the parks. We always rent a car.
