car service question

We tried to book with FL tours from Pop to the terminal on our cruise date in Nov. We asked to be picked up between 8:30 and 9am because we want to be at the port when it opens at 10am. They emailed us back that they picked up passengers for the cruise at 10am which would get us there later than we want. We called them and they said it was because they were getting the people getting off the cruise at that time and that disney didn't want them getting passengers there that early. Now that second part I find hard to believe since on the cruise board everyone gets there that early and that's when it opens but whatever. So we are now trying to find a company that will get us when we want them to. So has anyone used a company that picked them up early enough to get to the port at 10am when it opens? I mean if I'm paying them to drive me somewhere I don't see how it matters where I'm going or anything else I'm paying for the service. Thanks.

Any company can take you over to the port at the time you request. You just need to go down the list of vehicle-for-hire companies that are listed at the Orlando airport. Lately there has been quite a few waiting to get into the terminal at 10:00. Keep in mind that they don't open up, for new passengers, until that time.

There are several mentioned on the board that will take care of you.

Hmmmm, that seems a wee bit bogus. We routinely get to the terminal well before it opens at 10. If in your own car, you have to wait to access the parking lot until 10, but if you have a car service take you, you can get dropped off anytime. But, you will have to stand outside, on the sidewalk waiting, with your bags. I would suggest getting there for 9:45 or so.
There are many car services that can give you what you want.

Disney porters were taking luggage from passengers this morning at 9:30 from passengers going on the Magic cruise. That is actually the earliest I have ever seen that.

Thanks everyone. My mom was the one that talked to them and when she relayed to me what they said I told her I thought they were full of it. I figured the same thing but wasn't sure if this was common of all of the car for hire places. Glad to hear someone else should be able to meet my request. Thanks again. Back to the drawing board.
