Are there any car services that would transport us from our Disney World hotel to the Port of Miami? We are looking into taking a Disney Cruise following a few days at Disney World in April of 2015. There are 6 of us total going (4 adults and 2 children). My DMiL and DFiL would rather take a car service or shuttle than to drive. I am sure it would be much cheaper to rent a car, but just wondered if a car service was even an option.

You would need a limousine or van service. Prices from MCO to Port Canaveral for six people in a van is $160. That's a one hour drive. The drive to Miami is about 4 hours, maybe a bit more in traffic. My guess it that you'd be lucky to get that service for $800.

A one way rental of a large SUV would probably be much more comfortable and save about $500.

For between $45-$65 per person each way you can take the Red Coach bus

My cousin takes it from Atlanta to the Orlando airport and then the DME to WDW and loves it. She has done it a few times.

Thank you both! I think our best option will be to rent a van. I think cost wise, driving is our best bet.:drive: We like the comfort of not driving on vacation, but oh well, we'll be heading to relaxation onboard the Wonder! Ahhh. . .fun in the sun!!!:beach:

Just remember when renting a van for that many people you will need to get an extended van (one that is longer than the average van) in order to get everyone and all the luggage into the van. They usually run $150- $200 a day. You can get one at Budget.

We own a Dodge Grand Caravan so I am thinking if we can squeeze :crowded: all of us with our luggage in to the airport, we should be fine. I'll be sure to verify when renting that it is large enough. Thanks Shelly F!:)

Are you talking Port Canaveral or Port of Miami?
