Car seats on VA

Hello,

I only discovered to my extreme joy last night that you can request a "car seat" for the flight on VA. Has anyone used these and what did yu think. DS will be 2 years 3 months and is of average height and build for his age.

It would be fabulous if he could be strapped in a five point harness, we have a chance of him sleeping then. I don't intend to keep him in it the entire flight, but he was a pain with the regular lap strap at Easter when we went to Cyprus.

Thoughts please.

We used the infant seat - I think it had a height restriction of 1m.

It doesn't recline at all but I preferred DD in the 5 point harness.

Once they are installed they have to stay in the seat for the whole flight - they aren't easy to install.

Thanks, I'm not bothered about it reclining, his current car seat doesn't recline, the five point harness is beckoning to me lol! DS is only 86cm so in the limits.

We found it very good. Not reclining was a bit of a pain, but being able to strap our little one in was a great bonus
