Car Seats on buses?

Does anybody know if you have to have a car seat for toddlers to use in the bus transportation from the resorts to the parks OR from the airport to the resorts? If so, what do you do with the car seats at the park? We were not planning on shipping our car seats, but will if we have to.

You do not need to use car seats on the busses. you will need from the airport if you are renting a car or using a towncar service.

We're using the new Magical Express from the airport to the resort. I am guessing that they will use the same type of bus that they use to the parks. (They call them motor coaches).

Car seats only "work" with seatbelts. There are no seatbelts on buses.

The ME Busses will be larger and have the softer, plush type seating. The busses that you would take between the resorts and parks, etc. are smaller and have the hard, plastic seats. HTH Rebecca

Disney's Magical Express will use over the road motor coaches. These coaches are high up, and have plush seating. The coaches also have storage bays underneath the coach. (think Greyhound, but nicer)

Disney Transport uses mass-transit buses. These buses are smaller, and are designed for short and quick on/off trips. Some feature a stepless entry, and a full low floor. Buses are designed to accomodate standees. (think city bus, but nicer)


Neither the motor coaches and the transit buses will have seat belts, making car seats useless. Small children can ride in thier own seat, or in the lap of thier parents.
